[ Akane can play a role to perfection—she becomes the person she is playing, she makes the lie become truth on stage or on screen, or even when she is out at events. It becomes a way to protect her shy, timid self. The public doesn't want a timid star, they want someone who can shine. So, Kaiser is right.

She imagines the same must be true in the case of football stars; on the field, during interviews, when people see them from afar...no, Akane doesn't feel it is vastly different. ]


That is true, a lie can protect you if you're in the public eye. Doing your best to maintain that is easier than letting the public see you as you are and tear you apart.

Maybe, do you mean to say all lies fall apart when you're in a match?
