you have a point there... if you think about it, the worst form of pain is when its senseless, right? if somebody cant figure out why theyre in pain, it causes a lot of issues, both from within and from without. but if you can tell yourself that theres a purpose to being in pain, then people can endure it

Mmm... I fully believe you're correct. At least, that's how I felt for a long time. Pursuing perfection under my mother's rules was painful. Studying day in and day out, getting perfect marks, all on her terms... It all seemed endless. But now, oddly enough, I *enjoy* doing well and seeing the results of my hard work. It's still stressful, but I enjoy it now.

i suppose that in conclusion: most things are better when you know that youre doing them for yourself, even the things you dont enjoy. now that i think about it, its not as if i particularly enjoy training... but ive always been able to do more of it than most people...

most people dont think much about the location, only the symbol itself, its very prescient of you to consider it in advance you could try a temporary tattoo if you wanted to try it out? i forget what its called. the one where they still have to draw on you, not like the kiddie version.
