[ this is an intriguing question to kaiser because ultimately, kaiser knows most of what's wrong with him and simply refuses to fix it. if he got therapy, deprogrammed his mind, and tried to just live a normal life as best as possible... he probably could. but he won't! ]

Of course, I would help them to do what they want. To achieve their goals and aims, no matter what they were.

depending on how you look at it, thats either very selfless or very selfish
how do you see yourself, in that aspect?

It's both, sometimes it might be an even split between selfless and selfish but at times the ratio might change.

But I'm not selfless, there is something I want out of our arrangement too.

not that i think this will happen... but if something ever comes between what i want and what you want, then you should always put your own goals first

I am not too worried about that happening, but I will remember this, and if you break-up with me because of this, I hope we can still be friends still.

[ normal people would generally push back on the idea of this a bit? like, can people usually choose to part on good terms if there's something that merits a separation? but he's glad they're on the same page here. ]

thats why i can say with certainty that i wouldnt hold it against you if you chose your goals above mine
im sure id understand why, and thats what really matters, doesnt it?

That same is true for you. I would understand, and that—well, I would surely miss you but ultimately choosing your goals above everything else is who you are.
