I came here to meet you!       ( text | action | etc. )
... I want you to get in the way of my life.

( ? WHAT'S SHE CATCHING STRAYS FOR? )

Well, no..

( ................ point taken. the day she goes out drinking like that will truly be the end of the world. but. )

I think if I had to travel that far and know I don't have anything else on the docket, I might at least go look around?

( theoretically anyway. )

( no no let him cook. )

Um..

( what WOULD she wanna do??? )

Mostly just the sights probably. I figure the tower is big enough that you'd see it anyway? And I don't remember the last time I went to a museum, if ever.

I'd just want to walk around.. I can't see myself going back to the hotel with nothing to do unless it's time for bed, that's all.

Haven't you been around before? I sort of assumed you've been. Please don't get more lost than you already are.

( especially when there's literally nothing she can do about all that. )

I didn't think they were tall enough to do that. I'm guessing getting on a roof somewhere is out of the question.

?? Maybe?
How do you not know?

( not accounting for childhood amnesia, of course. who actually remembers being 3. )

You also just don't sound fond of the place to begin with, but maybe that's true of anywhere.

Oh.
Is it still crowded? Someone's bound to recognize you so maybe they can point out where either group went if you wanted.

( > implying he spends money on himself. )

You really hate being out huh.
When are you guys headed back?

( he has so much of it though. he should reconsider. )

There's not a place out there that you're curious about seeing?

( not that she has any off the top of her head but that's more because she lives in a bubble. )

That's if you make it back to your hotel anyway.

[personal profile] nintendog 2024-12-18 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
( well with his needs provided for.. ok that's a little sad but also kinda true. )

Well, yeah, nothing's picture perfect like that. I feel like it'd be unnerving to be somewhere that's just naturally set up like that.

( his particular distaste for the french has been noted. )

Why not? They're there to help, aren't they?

[personal profile] nintendog 2024-12-19 05:47 am (UTC)(link)
( ? )

??
In your experience? You've been somewhere like that before?

( unfortunately the way he worded that makes that question inevitable.... )

And, of course I do.

But it's not about that.

Wouldn't you be worried if I told you I got lost?
nintendog: (pic#17527538)

[personal profile] nintendog 2024-12-19 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
( she went from absolutely offended to entirely too proud of herself that he wouldn't worry WAY too quickly. you know what though, in the end, that's the right answer.... )

Of course I'd figure it out.

( )

Or if I don't I guess I just live there now.

( this is a joke. )

And I misunderstood juuust a little. I thought you were still talking about movie set sceneries actually, but I really shouldn't be too surprised to hear that about your seniors and stuff considering what you've described of the culture in that field.

This might be a strange question but I'm going to ask it anyway, but couldn't you have gone ahead and gone back to Germany before them if you don't like it there that much?

[personal profile] nintendog 2024-12-20 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
( but it's funny. )

Taking suggestions on the best places to get lost, then.

( idiosyncratic feels a little too nice but she won't question it. )

How bad could doing all of that really be? It can't be that bad.
nintendog: (pic#17527515)

[personal profile] nintendog 2024-12-20 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
( she's not sure why she expected literally any other answer other than germany.

why spain.. actually, that's worth asking.
)

Spain? I wasn't expecting that one.

( how is it that this boy is both the laziest and most hardworking person she knows simultaneously. it's impressive. )

Your logic continues to astound me.
Explain.

[personal profile] nintendog 2024-12-20 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
( that gap moe's fucking crazy as always. )

Really?
Hm, I don't know if I can any time soon but I'd like to see it someday.

( y'know. when the fire dies down, whenever that happens. )

You can't delegate the things that are bad, but you can with things that are inconvenient, no?

( at least he's got somethin... )

So you don't want to do certain things yourself, but you also don't want other people to do it. Do I have this right.
