i think it depends on person to person... but personally, for me, instinct is more like intuition. like a feeling of, "if i do this, itll definitely work"
but for me, the basis of intuition is rationality and factual, everything i do is something ive visualized myself doing before...

This is all very subjective, but you always seem so sure when you play—at least the matches I have seen. Like instinct guides you through it but what you say makes sense. It's more than just luck, isn't it?

Correct, and that loss to Taiwan last week really hit hard but it's my dad who watches it, I mostly do yoga. Fencing. Depending on what my role is I have to keep in shape.

Yes. There are far too many roles that require some sort of familiarity with weapons, especially swords, fencing gives you basics that you can transfer easily enough.

Yes, though nothing as rigorous as what you're doing. Some of those things I've seen you do...it doesn't seem possible. My dancing is basic, it is simply enough to paint a picture for the audience.
